North Bullitt 2016

Featured Replies

This is a new season. And now that others know how good this team can be under new management from last season. What's others opinions about this up coming season?.

This should be a very interesting year for North Bullitt. They have to replace some key players on an offense that put up over 4000 ydrs last year and went 9-3. Two really big holes are left by RB Logan James, who had over 1300 yrds and 18tds, and Dalton Walls, who had over 900 yrds, and 8 tds. They do return a very solid senior QB, Andrew Brown, and maybe their best all around player in Nate Johnson, but there are definitely some questions.

What did they lose as far as the O-line goes? Pretty darn good line play led to a very explosive offense last season.

I think they only return 2 starters on the oline. Big shoes to fill, not only with James in the backfield, but their backup RB was pretty decent player too.

I agree there are some questions, but not nearly as many as they had at this time last year.

Hearing depth will be an issue. But they have legit playmakers and skill guys coming back.

Won some close games last year, flip flop those scores and 9-3 could be 6-6. Either way, they still should be pretty competitive.

They are working on their O-line.. But with some returning play makers it should be a fair season. Nate Johnson, Andrew Brown, will be key players. But keep an eye out on Jeff Newton, Noah Unitia, Christain Floyd, Cody Oaks, & Blake Caple making plays happen and stopping the O on the line..

Going to be a team and year of stepping up and making it happen..

I agree that Brown and Johnson are very solid players. They do have a very favorable schedule again this year, but I think am not sure that there is a supporting cast to help them.

If they can not get some of their younger lineman to step in and have an immediate impact, it could make it hard for Brown to be effective. With the loss on James and Walls, Johnson will get a lot of attention.

Gotta remember this is a team game. Weren't last year's key players the same guys on the team that didn't do so hot the year before? I know Coach Billings loved his oline last year, that's his position, but I don't think they had any college studs.... Just guys that played hard.

Don't know who the "others" are but I'm hearing they have 4-5 receivers that are gonna be nasty. One of them is 200 pounds and hang cleans 225 for sets. Hearing the the junior catches everything and has made some sick plays this offseason.

Don't know of any team that went 9-3 last year only because they had two good players...... I'm sure they have more than 2 that will play their butts off on Friday night.

Good luck if you think it's just a two man show.
