July 8, 201610 yr Author Some may see a couple of rounds of showers and/or storms today. My thinking is that the possible strong to severe storms could occur later this afternoon into the early evening. For now it looks like the main threats are damaging winds and hail. I'll try and update throughout the day.
July 8, 201610 yr Author First is the simulated HRRR radar at 10 am EDT. This clearly shows the first round of showers and possible storms. I have to switch to the NAM simulated radar because the HRRR model doesn't go that far into the future. This shows the second line of showers and storms later this evening. 8 pm EDT
