6 years for shooting a woman to death in his home? Seems pretty light to me. I say let him finish the remaining 9 years and don't add on much for the escape and fraud. Maybe 6 months or something like that.

Finish out original sentence and then give him 2 yrs for escape.

 

The guy seems to have turned his life around since the murder.
