Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Bath County? Remember, please be constructive.

Bath County will return their entire team from last season minus 1 player....but that one player is Sarah Price who is heading to WKU to play. The fate of the program will lie in the hands of the hiring committee filling the head coaching vacancy left when Melanie Rogers accepted the Fleming County position. They have several talented returning players for the next 2-3 seasons as the entire team will be JR's and below....but those same returners are all also talented softball players coming off a 20 win season. The right hire could have them competing for the district title and in the region overall immmediately. The wrong hire could push those athletes to focus on the diamond and set the program back for several years.
