Saturday Severe Weather Outlook

Featured Replies

While some could see some scattered showers and storms today our next chance for strong to severe storms comes on Saturday. For now it looks like and afternoon into the evening event. I'll post updates as we get closer.

Parts of Kentucky could see strong to severe storms late this afternoon into the evening hours. This looks to happen mainly west of I-75. After the initial round of rain things could start to clear and aloud for the destabilization of the atmosphere. This looks to start in WKY then progress eastward to about I-75. This could allow the strong to severe storms to develop when the second round of precipitation passes west to east.

The first line of rain should be in EKY by 5 pm EDT. Then the second line that could produce the strong to severe storms should be about to enter WKY around the same time. The leading edge of these storms should be around I-75 by around 11 pm EDT. They could last into early Sunday morning.

Stay weather aware later this afternoon into the night time hours.

Thanks @nWo must be the same storm that just came thru Memphis?

Youngest TACster was showing videos of ankle deep water as he walked thru campus. Said the soccer field had coverted to a lake. Which is not a bad thing.

Yes that will bring our first wave of showers.
