Penguins win game one 5-2.

 

With 48 seconds left in the 1st period. NY goalie, Henrik Lundqvist was hit in the eye by one of his own teammates. He gave up the first goal of the game 32 seconds later and did not return after the intermission.

 

Patric Hornqvist got a hat trick for Pittsburgh.

 

Jeff Zatkoff started in goal for the Pens, his first Stanley Cup Playoff start. Normal starter, Marc-Andre Fleury has now missed 6 straight games with a concussion.
