Scott County is hosting a triangle this weekend with McCracken, Male & Anderson Co.

 

15th: Scott Co vs Anderson Co 6:00 pm

 

16th: Scott Co vs Male 8:00 am

16th: Scott Co vs McCracken 10:00 am

16th: Anderson Co vs Male 12:00

16th: Anderson Co vs McCracken 2:00

16th: McCracken vs Male 4:00

 

This should be a great day for softball...Any predictions??

I predict seeing some great games there and the best playing some of the best. Interested to see what some of the predictions are here on this one.

From what i was told, Anderson is down a few key players for injuries so it'll be intersting to see how that affects them if this is true.

This should be awesome! This is who top teams should be playing...other top teams. Gotta tip your cap to these coaches. Wish I could be there.

What was the take away from this one. 4 great teams there.

McCracken showed why they are #1 in the state. I know earlier Madisonville beat them, but that was like waking the beast. They have 3 top pitchers, and no weaknesses at the plate or in the field. I know there are no guarantees when it comes tourney time, but they look really good.

Okay, so no scores, no updates, no recap, nothing???? Was anyone there? I would like to hear what happened and I can hear it from Male parents or other parents but wanted the rundown!

It was a great weekend of ball.

The Scott Co vs Male game was great. Scott Co went up on Male 6-3, and in the 7th Male came back on them to take the lead 8-6. Scott Co was the home team and came out hitting the ball. Bases loaded, Kennedy Sullivan hit a hard hit ball up the middle and CF let it go by her so SC won 9-8.

 

Scott Co vs McCracken...A few injuries hit SC. Ison, the catcher took a knee in her upper thigh by a runner going home. And Ricketts, the second baseman, out due to back spasms. Moving a few girls around, they just couldn't do much against McCracken. Lost 5-1

 

Male vs McCracken...I saw most of this game. McCracken just was hitting and running the bases very well. Not sure what happened (mouth I think) got Bloomer in trouble and he was asked to coach from the dug out during the 5th or 6th inning.

 

Male vs Anderson Co...very close game. 1-0 with male winning. Great defense by both teams, no one could really get the upper hand.

 

this was a pretty good weekend for watching ball. Very enjoyable. And yes, Anderson did have some players down. One of their pitchers didn't pitch, Ally, she is out for a few more weeks.
