Today is March 23, about four months before the Republican convention convenes in Cleveland. Everything is still pretty much up in the air. Trump leads in delegates by a pretty wide margin and needs 52 or 53% or so of the remaining delegates to reach 1,237 . Cruz needs 80+% of remaining delegates but some of the establishment guys have reluctantly started to rally around his candidacy. Kasich has to hope for a contested convention. In a new poll that just came out in PA, Trump and Kasich are pretty much in a dead heat. Donald seems to have a battle on his hands to get to the magic number.

Who do you think will be the eventually GOP nominee--- Trump, Cruz, Kasich OR .... someone else(please specify who you think it will be) ???

I think it ends up being Cruz.

Trump just can't help himself. He's now started going after Cruz's wife.

That's a good way to characterize Donald. It's just not in him to resist the personal attacks, even against women. And yet, it hard to imagine the GOP standing arm in arm with Ted Cruz either. What a summer ahead!!!

Knock me over with a feather. Scott Walker was quoted on Politico today as saying that if Trump fails to reach the magic number, the nominee might well be someone other than Kasich-Cruz-Trump.

“I think if it’s an open convention, it’s very likely [the nominee] would be someone who’s not currently running,” Walker said.

So why even bother having GOP primary elections anymore? Just have Mitch and Ryan select the nominee.

Damn. Scott Walker. Forgot about that bastard. Wasn't he the first one out?
