I am sure we can all agree that coverage of High School Sports is at an all time high. But when it comes to old school beat writing and high school notebook coverage, I would say Mike Fields of the Herald-Leader, Jody Demling of the Courier-Journal, and Mark Mathis of Messenger-Inquirer are 1, 2, 3. My question is, "Who else in the state of KY, covers high school sports in the papers like those guys?" I wanna hear you from Murray to Pikeville!!!

P.S. R.I.P. Richard "Big Dipper" Blount, one of the greatest ever. A man who touched a ton of kids in the mountains of Eastern KY.

Give me JOEY FOSKO (Paducah Sun) Knows his stuff when it comes to the high school sports scene in general.
