Thompson had a role in the Bengals’ defensive line rotation for the last three years, but didn’t play in the team’s playoff loss to the Steelers after tearing his ACL in the regular season finale. That injury likely rules him out of offseason work and leaves him questionable for training camp and the start of the regular season, which makes it hard to count on him as more than a depth piece for 2016.

 

Thompson has 53 tackles and three sacks in 39 career games.

I am hoping Thomson resigns with the Bengals at a team friendly price.

Any word on how the interview went out west? I'd like to have him back at a team friendly price.
