George Rogers Clark vs Tates Creek

Featured Replies

True or false, GRC, will when this game by 7.

Two weeks ago,I would have said that the Cards, would win this one by at least two touchdowns. Then I saw the Dores scrimmage both Garrard Co., and Jeffersontown and they looked impressive in both games. Granted neither of those teams are as talented as GRC, but they looked good never the less. If Tates Creek settles on a QB, and finds some quality DB's, they will definitely challenge in the city this year. Remember this name for the DORES Alan Meadors. He was dominant in the two scrimmages. The Creekers are big and strong upfront, however, they are still a young team. getting back to your question, I say false.

GRC 21

Tates Creek 17

If this game was played in week 10 instead of week 1, I'd go with Tates Creek, because with the style of offense they run, it always takes awhile to get it going, and the Dore generally get strong as others get beat up and suffer injuries.

GRC will have another new QB again this year, Dougie Mason, JR. He did not play football last year. Will take a few games for him to make good judgement calls. GRC should win this one...but being the first game, and away...who knows.

How did GRC do in the scrimmage yesterday?

GRC 28-21.

I can't wait for Friday night, this is going to be one of the best matchups in terms of competitiveness on Friday night.

Jones had 15 yard pass for a TD, and Clint Greene broke a 60 yard TD Conners went in from 5 yards out , I think GRC, won by 14. WoodFord passing game will stand tall this year.

Champ, you are so right. Preparation and anticipation. The Creek was dryed up last year starting with a big lost to GRC. Now GRC, needs to make sure that it stays dry and come out and guarantee, the people of Clark Co, that this year is for real.

Could someone give me directions to get there? Not sure what street to take to the High school. Thanks.. :thumb:

Take the Hamburg Exit off of the interstate (coming from Clark Co.), take that road all the way (it will eventually turn into Man O War, till you get to Armstrong Mill Road , turn right onto Armstrong Mill, take Armstrong Mill, to Appian Way (Appian is the street at the first light), take a right onto to Appian, take Appian all the way to the 4-way stop, turn left at the 4-way, this is Centre Parkway, You will see TC behind a shopping center at the Top of the Hill, The stadium is behind the school.
