Top Quarterbacks in EKY for 2016

Featured Replies

Who are the top returning signal callers in eastern Kentucky for the 2016 season?

To name a few...

Wyatt Battaile, Pikeville - The junior-to-be led the Panthers to the 1A state title in 2015, throwing for 1339 yds and 20 TDs with only 4 INTs. On a limited number of pass attempts(95) he had an 80% completion percentage. Wyatt also contributed nearly 400 yds and 4 TDs on the ground.

Cameron Sizemore, Corbin - This young man is a load to bring down. A dual threat runner/passer, he accounted for almost 1800 yds of offense and 30+ TDs for the 3A semifinalist Redhounds. Cameron will be a junior in 2016 and a centerpiece to build around for a program on the rise.

Tuck Woolum, Pineville - An upcoming senior in 2016, he threw for 1865 yds and 25 TDs while adding 765 yds and 12 TDs rushing. It's impossible to ignore 37 combined TDs.

Cameron Jones, Knott Co. Central - Two things really jump out about Mr. Jones... he stands 6'7" tall and he was just a freshman in 2015. He has a big time arm and passed for 2333 yds and 22 TDs last season. It's hard to tell just how high his ceiling is.

Good list and one I agree with, others of note:

Josh Crump, Fleming County- I expect a nice year for him. Fleming was a decent team and returns a lot of experience around him

Cole McWhorter, North Laurel- Excellent Dual Threat QB who nearly ran and passed for 1000 yards

Noah Corbett, Belfry- If you look behind the QB as just a passer. Corbett is lethal with his feet and runs that Offense smoothly.
