ADopted ADmiral
Here lately I've been on a big 80's music kick. I guess the older I get the more I want to travel back in time. When I spin one of my favorite records from the 80's,it automatically takes me back to that period of my life. My age range in the 80's was between 16 years old and 26 years old. So music is my own personal time machine. I'll start with Men at work/Business as Usual. Released November 9th 1981...

Science Friction
Not a bad tune on this terrific album. Spent about 15 weeks at number 1 on Billboard. One of my very favorites from the eighties. Kevin Cronin, Gary Richrath and the boys:
Science Friction
Steve Perry and the boys had a pretty good little run in the 80's . "Frontiers" was a mighty nice little follow-up to "Escape." [video=youtube;jNoBJCFU-NU]

One of my very favorites from the eighties. Kevin Cronin, Gary Richrath and the boys: Excellent choice... This is one of those records that got really old for me because of it's commercial success, but after at least 25 years of not hearing it I can appreciate how awesome it really is. When it first came out I was learning how to play the bass guitar. Keep on loving you was one of the first songs I learned to play.

Science Friction
Marc Rubio's favorite 80's album: Colour By Numbers/CC I remember MTV playing the heck out of CC's videos. George O' Dowd(Boy George) was something else!!! rockmom
Blondie-Autoamerican The Tide is High and Rapture are the best known when you think of this album. But my favorite is the ~8 minute long version of Call Me.
