Offensive and defensive lineman Cole Kirby has picked up his second offer in the last two weeks. Cole was offered today by Marshal. Last week he was offered by UNC-Charlotte. Congratulations to a fine young man that just happens to be one heck of a football player! I am very proud to be his coach. I am sure he and his family are thrilled :thumb:

Cole power cleaned 290 last week and ran a 5.18 in the 40. I can't remember what his other lifts and shuttle were but those two things stood out to me that day. Cole is 6'4 and 287 currently. Georgia Tech, WKU, Army and Villanova are currently in the mix as well as Purdue. No official offers from those as of yet. Another interesting thing about Cole is that he is young for his class. He really should be going into his Junior season. One of the things coaches like besides the obvious is 3.9 GPA and 29 on his ACT.

I hate that he got hurt so early in the championship game, as I was looking forward to watching him.
