Heard that Greenup Co. had 2 good scrimmages with Powell Co and Fairview, yea i know that they are smaller schools but if you only have 25 kids on a team it makes it tough. Heard that Greenup has a kid around 6'10" to 7 foot tall. Any truth about this kid, athletic?

I'm hearing that the Musketeers are not as bad as last year and that they will be able to compete. They don't have a lot of kids on the team, the the ones they have want to be there. Look for that soph class to make big contributions throughout the season. I plan to check them out the first week against E Carter.

GC is the sleeping giant in this county .... Just need to right spark to wake up. Present Coach can do this took Portsmouth West to state title game in a football state .... Let's go GC .. I still remember getting run over by Jimmy Dunaway ....

Well from what i have heard the Greenup/Fairveiw scrimmage looked like a jfl game! This is not first hand though i just heard it from a few people that were there! I think Greenup has a lot potential but the attitude surronding this program after a 1-9 season is not very good! I think that Greenup has a great coach and that they could do alot if the players bought into what him and his coaching staff are teaching!

Are you saying Greenup only has 25 kids out this year, or are you reffering to the two smaller schools? If Greenup only has 25 kids out there is something wrong.

You can't judge the whole season on a scrimmage. GC has some talented athletes and a nice coaching staff and I am sure they are working as hard as everyone else to achieve their goals. I would like to see them have more kids involved.

Greenup really messed up when that let TJ Maynard get away. His teams were always well coached and played hard. I hope that GC can get it turned around this year. They have some good players.
