I can't help but feel that Walden's dilemma is somewhat self-inflicted; they have plenty of 7th and 8th grade basketball players who for whatever reason they have chosen to not play for the varsity. Every other small school I am familiar with facing a similar situation plays those players. Not sure why Walden has chosen not to do so.

 

In any event, I previously have praised Michael Harris on these pages - he is playing hard and displays a positive attitude notwithstanding the circumstances in which he finds himself. I have never seen him display frustration at any of his teammates, for which I applaud him.
