January 21, 201610 yr On The Herd last week, Jamal Crawford was being interviewed by Colin and he said this is the first time in his 18 year career (didn't realize he had been in the league that long) that he has had the same head coach in consecutive seasons. Edit: Said that he has had 18 head coaches in 18 seasons. Edited January 21, 201610 yr by bugatti
January 21, 201610 yr He played for the Knicks from 05-09 Isiah Thomas coached there from 06-08 Mike D'Antoni coached from 08-12 Bill Cartwright coached the bulls from 01-03 Crawford was there 00-04
January 21, 201610 yr Author It didn't seem real when I heard it. So Crawford is nuts? I guess the only thing I would ask, was Thomas brought on or fired during the season? Same for D'Antoni and Cartwright. Maybe he meant this is the 17th or 18th coach he has played for? Even Colin called him out on it and said there is no way. He said he could name them right there.

January 21, 201610 yr Author :lol2: Not surprising he isn't sure how long he had coaches. 6 teams in 18 seasons. How many in-season hires/fires have there been through his career? For Cartwright he was brought on during the season and then fired during his third season. So that is 3 coaches. So that one makes sense at least.
January 21, 201610 yr Author From 2013. Maybe he isn't that crazy: 16 Head Coaches and 6 Teams Later, Jamal Crawford Has Finally Found Right Home | Bleacher Report.
