SEC vs BIG 12 in the Sugar Bowl

Ole Miss is looking for redemption after an incredibly beat up squad got embarrassed by TCU in a New Year's Six Bowl last season. Ole Miss already has 2 defensive starters (Tony Connor and Fadol Brown) electing to have surgery to prepare for next season and will miss this game.

Oklahoma State was one of the surprises of the season.

Could be the last hurrah for Rebel junior superstars Robert Nkemdiche, Laquan Treadwell, and Laremy Tunsil before setting off for the NFL. Star QB Chad Kelly might be the rare one and done football player after his record setting season.

Taking my Rebels.

Hotty Toddy!

Nkemdiche has been suspended.

Has declared for the draft.

Yep, with Big Rob and his older Brother Denzel not playing that makes 5 opening game starters now out of the Rebels defense. (Tony Conner, Fadol Brown, and senior NT Issac Gross who missed basically all of the season with a neck injury being the other 3).

Luckily redshirt freshman Breeland Speaks has played really well on the d-line even filling in great when Robert was out vs Texas AM. Speaks was a big time recruit that Ole Miss had to fight Bama and LSU to keep in state.

On a side note I really hope the Nkemdiche brothers can mature as they move on in their lives. Both put themselves in with drugs where they could have seriously hurt themselves. The brothers were both instrumental in making Ole Miss relevant again and gave me many great memories.
