November 29, 201510 yr Fantastic stretch run by Tonalist with Velasquez aboard. Tonalist has only finished out of the money twice since his two year old season: a pair of fifth place finishes in the last two Breeders' Cup Classics. He's been sticking around the longer distances, having won the last two Jockey Club Gold Cups and finishing well in several others. It'll be interesting to see if this result means his connections point him toward the mile circuit next year as they've already said he'll race as a five year old. [video=youtube_share;h3OKyj0MnAI]
November 29, 201510 yr Strange that Private Zone was held hard and the fractions of 24 and 48 were not that fast for a race at that distance. Got to give Tonalist props for closing into that pace. Also props for racing next year.
