Things must be truning the corner at Campbell County. There has been a push within the High School to satrt a new KHSAA sanctioned sport at CCHS. They are looking to propose to the KHSAA to introduce fishing as a sport. They have a pond on sight and the team would be coached by John "Red Snapper" Hardy, the Asst. Principal. Also in the works, CCHS and Newport High School also both have open dates at the beginning of 2007 season. A game could be in the mix.

Is this a joke?

I swear on all that's holy this is all true!

Well 92Bird, I do not know where you get your information, but if they are planning to start fishing, why are they looking at getting rid of the pond? From the information I have, it has become a small concern when people are up there during the school day and the kids are trying to fish for gym class.

Also, just so you know, John Hardy is the Associate Principal, not Assistant Principal.

That would be an interesting game if Newport and Campbell played, do you think anyone from CC Admin would show up?:flame:

Well happytrails, my info is dead on although the idea for fishing is a little old, but it is true. I would say that no one from the administration would show up at the game if it was at Newport, since they rarely attend any other games anyway.
