West Carter/Sheldon Clark Updates

What's your deal? Both coaching staffs you trash (West and Russell) have won more games this year than you likely ever have in your life. Do you coach? I seriously doubt it or you wouldn't throw stones.

 

Didn't the Bath staff you praise on here lose to Fleming by throwing a pick inside the 10 when they have an excellent FG kicker and were only down 2?

Have not watched Bath play so if it was posted then my account was hacked.

I call it like I see it. Russell's play calling has been sketchy at best. Don't believe me look at losses to Fleming and Raceland as proof.

West's play calling tonight left a lot to be desired. You get the running clock when you have the opportunity and you shorten the game. The only bad thing that can come from a game like this is an injury for West. Running clock shortens the game and lessens the chance for injury.

There was no reason to be throwing the ball. SC had not tackled West in space all night. It was a poor decision.

I have coached in the past at the high school level and had success. Won the region as a 3 seed in AAA one year as the defensive cordinator. Not going to claim to be the best coach out there and far from perfect, just don't understand the decisions of some coaches. Football is the one game that coaching decisions can severely alter the game for the better or worse. Coaching football is like playing chess not checkers.
