Tough hard fought game. South lost their best player in Thompson in the first quarter and did not look the same the rest of the half. Shelby Co took advantage of the new CB and put up 21 straight points (all passing). Shelby Co took a 28-7 lead in the third before South mounted a comeback with two passing TD's. South did throw another TD with about two mins left that was called back for offensive pass interference. Tough call. Shelby Co QB did not play the second half -- not sure why. That limited them as they did not pass with the backup in. Thompson looked ok after the game and should be back soon. Both teams got some good experience against a quality opponent and be ready for the playoffs. Good luck to all!!
