Louisville Power Rankings 10-18-15

1) Male High School (8-0, Idle) – Numerous turnovers kept X closer Male could feel comfortable with but still pulled out the win. Next week is the old rivalry against Manual. On paper Male should win with confidence but rivalries are crazy.

2) Trinity High School (8-1, defeated Seneca 42-0) – Another easy win by Trinity. Next week versus Ballard should be a better game but Trinity should still win my a few touch downs.

3) St. Xavier High School (5-3, defeated by Male 27-24) – Male turnovers kept the game close but X just couldn’t climb the fence to victory.

4) DuPont Manual High School (7-1, Defeated PRP 24-21) While Manual won, probably closer than it should have been. Next week versus Male will be Manuals most difficult game.

5) Central (5-2, Defeated Bardstown 42-7) Another nice win for Central. Next week versus Henry County, Central should win this one.

6) Fern Creek (6-1 Defeated Iroquois 41-0) No surprise. Next week is Atherton, probably a similar story.

7) Pleasure Ridge Park (5-4, Defeated by Manual 24-21) PRP’s second half of the season has been brutal. Next week against Central will be another difficult game.

8) Elizabethtown (8-0, Defeated Adair Co. 43-15) Nice win over a formidable then undefeated opponent. Next week is LaRue County.

9) St. Francis DeSales (5-2, Defeated Washington County 48-0) – DeSales gets back to winning. DeSales should have no trouble with Shawnee next week.

10) Christian Academy of Louisville (6-2, Defeated Shawnee 35-0) CAL enters the ranking with the Spencer Co loss. Could be argued that DeSales and CAL should flip but I still don’t want to give one game too much emphsis.

Big Riser(s) – Shelby County. Shelby ended Spencer Co’s undefeated season.

Big Dropper(s) – Spencer County. Spencer was playing great football but slipped against Shelby.
