Final. Purples struggle a little bit early but with Coach Griff on the sideline of Barren County Purples ran ball often rather than scoring in 2 or 3 strikes.

It was actually an entertaining game in the first half! 28 points given on turnovers for the Trojans as BG's opportunistic defense knows how to play with an edge. I highly doubt many in state have better skill position players than the Purples do, that being said, I was impressed with the away Griff had his players coached tonight.

For the Purple faithful: can someone give me any information on the recruitment of Tre Fant? Please tell me he has opportunities at the next level. Overly impressed with his play and football IQ.

Tre will play on Saturdays for sure. Mid Major should happen for him. It will be hard to ignore his stats. He will have more interceptions his senior year than most kids have in their HS career.

Unofficial but I believe Clark Payne, BG QB, was 15 of 19 with 228 yards and 2 TDs.

Carruthers for the Purples 4 TDs!

I said after the Rafferty's Bowl that Tre Fant would become a great player on the defensive side of the ball. I'm not sure how many interceptions he has, but he's got to be getting close to the school record? As for recruitment, it doesn't hurt when your brother is playing at an FBS school and your showing great stats and athleticism. You will see him on Saturday on some level.

Clark Payne was impressive also. Very surprised and happy with how he's coming along this season. Already excited to see him in the playoffs and watch him and his targets, DeAngelo Wilson and Jamale Carrothers, in their senior year!

On to Greenwood!

Tre Fant has 7 interceptions so far this year
