who did each team play in the district semi-finals?

A little surprised by this result, seemed NCC was struggling the last few matches.

Congrats on getting the win.

I was also surprised by this since they were without the services of Randle and he will also be out the first game of the region because of the red card he picked up in the last game of the year against HC. Could the first round of regions be a third match with HC? HC appears to have their number this year.

Came out to see the second half of this game. It was everything that I've heard about, a physical battle with a bunch of scoring chances. Even if both of these guys go to the regionals they don't hold back.

This was a much better Ncc team than I saw the rest of the year.

I'm not surprised by your comments shutout, this is a pretty big rivalry.

Although they both go to regionals, they still want to win the district for bragging rights. Also gives you a better chance of a more favorable draw for next week.

This match made the local news on TV tonight. I can't recall if it was the 10 o'clock news on Fox or the 11 o'clock news on ABC.

NCC dominated play throughout both halves. HHS scored on a PK for a foul in the box. NCC played their backup Keeper and he did a solid job. Using their starting Keeper in the field, provided another sub and allowed them to keep the energy up. HHS had some nice chances and moved the ball out of the back better than NCC. I really think the success in this game is due to the fact that NCC just matches up very well against HHS. If the Breds continue to trust each other and give maximum effort they could surprise some people in the Regional.

Reading through a few of the old threads I think there were a few people that said Ncc would be good come tournament time. I was not a believer, I only saw them the 2 games they played HC and was not very impressed. After seeing the second half yesterday I thought that it was a totally different team. I thought the keeper that played yesterday was a better keeper and that #9 & 10 in the middle was a great combo. Looks like the coach made some changes for the better. So from my calculations the last 3 goals given up by Ncc have been PKs.

Highlands got up that goal and seemed to be content. That got them in trouble, way to much time on the clock. Highlands will be a tough game for a winner of another district
