October 12, 201510 yr As a cold front passes through Kentucky later today. Some may see some thunderstorms late this afternoon. Especially between the 4-8pm EDT time slot. High winds and pea size hail maybe possible with these storms. Much like what we saw here in Richmond on Friday. I'll post updates later today when info warrants it.
October 12, 201510 yr Author Mid morning update: Parts of Kentucky are now in a marginal risk category for strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon. As of now the main threats look to be damaging winds and small hail. We still are looking at the 4-8 pm time frame for these possible storms. October 12, 201510 yr Author Afternoon update. The Marginal Risk area has been widen some. As of now it looks like most of the possible strong to severe storms will be south of I-64 and east of I-65 between 4-9 pm. Locally gusty winds and small hail are possibilities under some of these storms. The chance of these storms developing have increase somewhat. Enhanced thunderstorm outlook
