Great atmosphere tonight. JC controlled the LOS on both sides and netted nearly 400 total yards of offense. GC has a very nice defense and throws the ball alot (27 pass attempts unofficially). The GC offense got going late on bunch sets and quick passes to the outside but they took some big time shots tonight from the JC defense (hats off to those kids as they played hard the entire game). Bryce Workman for JC ran for 3TD's and had 2 picks on defense and Bryce Skaggs had nearly 200 yards on the ground. 5 total Turnovers was just too much for GC to overcome, but the future is bright for the Musketeers.

Tyler Pack punted from his endzone to the GC 1 yard line for a net of 89 yards. Unofficial of course, but Im pretty sure he now has the state record FG and Punt and did them both at GC. In summary, JC continues to roll, but GC is much improved.

Look out 4A, the #1 Ranked Golden Eagles have it rolling.

Just looked at the JC stat sheet. Officially the Tyler Pack punt was 89 yards and will be a state record. Wow. I hope WSAZ got that on film as it was amazing and traveled (with a nice wind) in the 70-75 yard range in the air. If this kid is not 1st Team All State for Kickers I would like to see the one who is.

Thanks for all the info 15th.

A few more stats from the game:

JC rushed 37 times for 338 yds. (1 interception)

GC rushed 24 times for 34 yds. (3 interceptions / 2 lost fumbles)
