Boone's defense looked good. A very physical Midfield kept Grant from generating almost no offense.

Boone just could not find net. I would say they pretty much dominated the game in possession and threats on goal.

Grant Co couldn't seem to generate much offense. It was tough going for them in midfield and if they got anything beyond that Boone's defense was there to keep them out of the net.

Grant Co seemed to have some decent players and suspect they are better than they played against Boone. They just weren't putting much together. Individuals would do some good things but they were not able to work as a team to build up pressure on Boone's goal. There were decent athletes, some with pace, and decent foot skills.

I enjoyed the senior night festivities. Grant had one senior who was escorted by his parents and siblings. As they walked in front of the stands and between his teammates a recording of the player talking about his family, fellow players, coaches, and soccer experience played over the Public Address system. It was funny. The kid had zingers for everybody he spoke about beginning with his sister. She didn't look too "mean" to me. :lol2:
