October 4, 201511 yr Final. Marshall opened up their conference USA title defense with a nice win over ODU. As usual, the Herd's special teams played a big role. Doc Holliday puts emphasis on special teams and it shows. Living approx. 20-25 mile from them, Marshall is another team that I always pull for along with Doc Holliday as a coach, good coach and even better person.
October 5, 201511 yr I'm also a Marshall fan. I remember laying on my bunk bed as a kid listening to them on WRVC fm wonder who they were. I've been following them since although EKU will always be my favorite team.
October 7, 201511 yr Doc has cleaned that program up A LOT. They are not the dominant Marshall of old, but they will continue to get better.
