Highlands went 4-1 overall with its only loss to Bowling Green in 3. Wins over Dixie, Walton, Brossart and Conner. Great effort by all on the team. Isabella Schultz All tourney team and Lauren Epperson MVP.

Congratulations to Highlands they had a great tournament. Does anyone have the final results of the tournament and a list of the all tournament team. I can't find it online.

The Gold bracket was semifinals HHS over Brossart and Conner over Bowling green. Not sure about the silver bracket. As far as awards go not sure about the other teams.

I wasn't there but from what I understand Conner was in a 4 team pool play vs Highlands having a 3 team pool play. Conner had to play 2 of their pool play games on Saturday starting at 8:00AM. I don't think that was the case for Highlands. Sounds like fatigue was a factor for Conner and they started making mistakes in the final game whereas Highlands was better able to keep things together. I heard their were some questionable in/out calls also. At the end of the day, Highlands played better in that one match; however, it sounds like Conner looked very impressive in their first 3 matches of day. In the end, Conner finished 4-1 also with their only loss to Highlands in the final, beating Simon Kenton, Madison Central, Holy Cross and Bowling Green.

Teams that host their own tournaments always seem to give themselves a "cake" walk to the finals. But props to them for beating Conner.

It was a fun tournament, though I absolutely hate the parking situation! To make matters worse on Saturday they had something going on outside on the field (either a Soccer or football game).

Driving into town from Columbia Pkwy I saw a new housing development which would have been a great site for a new school. If they had bought that land they could have moved either the middle school or high school down there and then torn down a few walls at the current location and built a massive parking structure. lol
