I think at full strength, Valley would give Ashland a run, but that's all just fun comparisons. Ashland, Raceland, Russell....all great KY teams, and it's good to get to play a few of them from time to time.

I believe that I heard Valley had something like 20 seniors. I know that the radio crew made that comparison (with Ironton). Valley started 9 seniors on offense and around that many on defense. Raceland Coach Salmons commented on the post game show that he would put Ashland ahead of Valley due to the Baker kid and Ashland had more depth, that the two were very close.

Anyway, I don't believer that anyone could doubt that they are both obviously pretty dang good.

Fair enough. I think our big lineman being out since the 1st series of the game really hurt the run game, but we did what we needed to do.

 

I'll be following the Rams the rest of the year to see how the season plays out. Hope you guys make a serious run!

Honestly, IMO the Rams and Ashland are both much improved from week 1. Both will be a tough out for any of the favorites in their respected classes.

I agree100%. The Rams did outplay my Indians tonight. Was a very good evenly match football game between 2 great football teams. Shame someone had to lose. This game will go a long way to help both these teams come playoff time. Hated to see the injuries. Hope to get these boys back soon. Good luck the rest of the season. We will be rooting for Raceland the rest of this season.
