Are they a new magnet school in JCPS?

Magnet school has nothing to do with it they have to have a CERTIFIED change of address. They have I know of 2 but had heard 8 kids that played last yr varsity and transferred. Maybe magnet school is the word.

Heard that Larry was absent from school with strep throat Labor Day week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Heard he was told on Thursday that he would not dress for the Male game. Not sure if this was due to just missing 2 days of practice or if the coaches weren't informed he was sick. As a parent who had a son play for Coach Beatty, our son always called if he was not going to be at practice. Every parent and player knows this is standard practice. Also heard that the family decided that if Larry wasn't going to dress for the Male game that the mother decided neither would Manny. If that is the case then it's ashamed that Manny was held out. He has seen time at wide receiver and as a kick returner and done just fine. We went to the Male game and just noticed at the half that Larry wasn't warming up and that Manny had not been in the game. Thought it strange and then heard that they were sitting in the stands on the Male side. Heard Coach beatty announced to the team after the Male game that the Harpers had been dismissed from the team. Very strange few days in my opinion.
