Pikeville lost a tough one to rival Paintsville and dropped below Paintsville in the BGP rankings. Sheldon Clark got their first win this past week but Paintsville had no problem beating them in week 1. This looks lopsided in favor of Pikeville, which may be good for them after last week's tough battle. Can Sheldon Clark do anything to make this a contest? If Pikeville is down and loses focus due to last week's loss, can Sheldon Clark spring a big upset?

No. don't look for an upset from SC. Pikeville fell short last Friday evening to a good Paintsville team. That game could have gone either way. Anyone that watched it would say it was a defensive battle between two heavy weights trading jab for jab. In the end, Kash crashed into the end zone for the win. SC put up some good points against Betsy Layne last week. I think this program will turn around, and continue to improve. However, I think this loss for Pikeville being so close, and a hard fought battle as it was, will just make the Panthers even more hungrier. Paintsville has a good team, but Pikeville does as well.
