Lloyd has a good team an so does Grant , I still say Grant by 2tds

Besides scrimmage game against walton that grant won, Lloyd will be there first real challenge, grant by 2tds

The last time I checked neither team is a powerhouse football team ? But both teams are good solid teams this year

I dont understand the whole Lloyd must develop the run game. Lloyd had both more passing yards and rushing yards than Beechwood (stats khsaa) for the game. That loss came down to the players poor job on open-field tackling, and coaching errors such as going for it on 4th down on their own side of the field, and the lack of adjustments to their passing game which resulted in the 4 ints. Im not taking anything away from Beechwood because they are a solid team and they git the win.

IMO opinion Grant co is going to have the same problem as last years Juggs team. Lloyd beat lesser opponents handily, but were out-classed by NCC and Newport.

Lloyd running game was shut down till 41-14. Beechwood went into prevent defense that when they got their rushing yard. . 4th and 1yd call coach knew his defense couldn't stop Beechwood O.

Thats ridiculous.Lloyd had a goal line stand against Beechwood and prevailed. Also, If Lloyd could not stop BW then the Tigers would have had the Juggs on a running clock. Take away Lunsford's 60 yard run in the 4th and lloyd still had over 80 rushing yards. Beechwood is an extremely well coached team with talent, but the game was much closer than the final score. Lloyd had first and goal from the 7 and had a BAD snap that resulted in a 20 yard loss. BW also scored 22 points off ints. BW has owned the Juggs over the years and manages to get into their heads and yet Lloyd did not get shut out in the 2nd half. I am so glad these two teams will play again next season and at BW no less .

Then why did Lloyd coach go for it own 30 yard line ? He knew he was beat.Goal line stand was a bad play call on Bw. 4 and 1 with Stringer and Slusher in the backfield and you dont give them ball?? Maybe Lloyd will hang another banner on their gym on being average.

Yes Grant has played to weak teams but at the same time Grant hasn't exactly been a strong team. They scheduled these teams for a reason, not to dominate them but to give them a chance to have success and hopefully feed off of it. The fact that they beat them by so much just shows that there going in the right direction. In the past they were unable to score even in these so called weak teams. Grant is a much bigger school then the teams they have played so far but it is still a step in the right direction. The schedule will be horrific here in a few weeks. If they can finish this season at 7 and 3, it will be a successful season regardless of the teams they played.

Again , grant is not a powerhouse team but I bet they could beat the grant county allumni football team.

If they would only let us play them. Lol and then I would hope they would since there young and in football shape. But I can tell you they would have to beat them with the pass because they would have no chance at running it.

Grant beat Walton and that was a scrimmage. Lloyd is solid. I would be surprised if they don't win by 2 TD's. IMO definately a better team than Grant
