Has anyone ever booked a trip through Groupon, the wife and I found a pretty good deal to Punta Cana and were curious?

Make sure you check for blackout dates, and any other restrictions that may be listed in the fine print. I worked in the daily deal space (not with Groupon) for several years, and while there are some good deals, there are just as often many deals that aren't so good. Make sure you do your due diligence on extra fees (booking fees, travel taxes, etc) which are often not spelled out so clearly. Also, check out the reviews of where you will be staying. Often, the places that offer these deals have vacancies for a reason...
