How goes a number 4 seed (Garrard Co.) get to be the home team over the number one seed (Danville)?

Seems as though everyone at the park was confused by this as well. The announcer even introduced Danville as being the home team. Danville finished the season undefeated in district play and was the #1 seed. Garrard was the #4 seed.

 

For those from Garrard County who were in charge of organizing this tournament (Head Coach & AD), just because you are the HOST team doesn't make you the HOME team. Even if there is a draw for the tournament rather than seeding, doesn't garauntee the HOST team of being the HOME team. It's luck of the draw.

That is a first for me. It doesn't matter who the host school is. The top seed is always the home team. Does this mean that Danville will be the visitors tonight against Lincoln Co. ??

Lincoln shouldn't be, but the way this tournament was set up and is going who knows.
