Anyone know what happened with her commitment to UNC? She is not listed on the roster. Is she playing someplace else?

Is anybody really surprised by this? After her troubles in high school, I would imagine that the college scene would provide difficult for her to navigate.

 

Hopefully she can right the ship and turn things around to salvage her career and more importantly, her education to set her up for the future.

I didn't mean to open up any cans of worms. Had no idea she had any troubles, I just knew she was a very talented volleyball player. I was hoping if she wasn't at UNC she was playing someplace else. Hate to see all that talent go unused but she wouldn't be the first one to decide not to play. Wish her well.

didn't play club ball in the spring, which is unusual if you plan to play in college. so somethin changed

Not necessarily. A lot of seniors with scholarships don't play their final club season,especially if they are early graduates.

Not playing anywhere. Rumored she was asked not to come back to KIVA this spring. Talent can always be wasted when poor personal choices are involved. Really a shame--all the talent and potential in the world and wasted. Some say the scholly was given up. Others say it was pulled by UNC. Lots of girls would've loved to have had the opportunity.

And I'm sure that some kid did get the schollarship. Today's recruiting goes from 8th grade to JC, not to mention transfers..
