Nelson County's running game looked pretty good in their scrimmage. What are the expectations for this weekend?

Don't put a lot of stock into the scrimmage. After talking with a few folks I trust with football knowledge it sounds more like Nelson's size up front overwhelmed a smaller LaRue team who is trying to adapt to a new system.

 

With that said, I do truly hope Nelson has a better season that last year. This first game will be a true test of their ability as Marion is more of a match for the Cards. If Nelson can contain Marion's speed AND move the ball consistently, they stand a good chance in this one. Marion has a new coach and while from what I've heard he is doing some of the same things Coach Robbins did, there is ALWAYS some adjustment to a new coach and philosophy.

 

I'm going with a Marion County win, but a tight one that comes down to the wire. 35-31 Knights.
