If you are unfamiliar, the Maher Rankings are an objective statistically sound and proven method of ranking sports teams. We've been ranking Kentucky high school soccer since 2011, more recently adding Ohio soccer, and Kentucky basketball.

 

The rankings are based solely on scores and home field advantage. As such, a preseason ranking is based on historical results. We make no attempt to factor in lost seniors or starters due to graduation - to hard to get the data! So go easy on us for a few weeks.

Need to drop Ryle out becuase of the Poe injury. Who said Boone plays a suspect schedule? 1st two games of the yr they play #7 and #11 . 7 teams on BC schedule in the top 20, 8 if you include Tates Creek (BG games opponent). Not a bad list other than Ryle being in the top 20. With Poe I think Ryle definitely belongs there though.

What happened to Poe? How long will she be out?

ACL tear. She goes Thur to have it scoped to see how bad. Unfortunetly, she most likely won't be back til her Sr yr. Probably miss all of the U17 season with KHA too. Just hoping she gets good news thursday when they get in there and see how bad it is.
