Anyone?

Both teams worked in a lot #2 s and 3s. #1 and #2 JV squads got 10 offensive plays a piece. Varsity #1 s played one game quarter and Dixie scored 2 touchdowns to Newports 0.

Dixie defense is very stout led by D-lineman Sammons and Lohre, LBs Barrett, Barmore, and Caple, and DB Schulte. Longest play from scrimmage for Newport was one gain of about 8 yards. Most of Newports plays netted 2-3 yards.

Newport was led by their QB #8 , Joseph #55 ( LB and OL ), and a huge right tackle ( O & D ) #75 . The Wildcats are starting a new chapter with a new staff that appears to be on the right page and building good chemistry amongst the boys. They play hard and don't take plays off.

Dixie Heights QB Gunther Faeth threw the ball well to several receivers and RBs Barmore, Torres, and Barrett looked really good picking up large chunks of rushing yards per carry.

It was a scrimmage...:sneaky:

Next week Dixie Heights and Beechwood play from what I understand will be a full simulated half or full game based on what Coaches Brossart and Rash agree upon.

Prediction threads for scrimmages....really!!! :stop:
