Will Betsy Layne have football this year? If so, have they hired a coach yet?

Please tell me that parents of Betsy Layne players have not allowed the Floyd Co. BOE to igonor this situation.

 

Man I can remember when Betsy Layne Football had respectable program in 2A:confused:

They will announce a coach in two weeks! I have heard.

I have heard there will be a site base meeting next Tuesday. I have not heard one name, does anyone have any idea?????

Just a rumor. I heard that there were a significant number of applications, including several from out of state and that these had been in for some time, but no action yet. If I was a BL parent, I'd be at the school one day and the BOE the next with a protest sign. Who are they going to get at this late date and what are they going to be able to do between now and the first game. I honestly believe they simply want to kill the program.

I have heard two were in serious contention but both pulled out.
