Over the weekend, the Ky Kids won the Regional Tourney. Sixteen teams participated in the tourney. They went two and one in pool play winning on game last Tuesday, and split the two games played last Thursday nite. They then won two games on Saturday and two on Sunday for the tourney Championship. One of the most impressive things in this championship was that they only had nine guys for the games on Saturday and Sunday. They play in the American Gold South Division of the SWOL.

A good month to be a KY Kid... 12u Kentucky Kids won at Omaha Championship Village in Nebraska going 8-1 on the week. The Kids went 4-1 in pool play, were a #5 seed and went on to win 4 bracket play games all by 1 run each, 2 of which were in extra innings including the championship game.

Nice - Glad that they had a lot of success, and I am sure fun out there. Nothing worse than traveling that far and getting your butts handed to you.

Well, we just learned the other day that with the win in the regional tourney, the 14u Kids qualified for AABC nationals and will be traveling to Oklahoma the end of the month! Congrats again boys, and good luck at Nationals!
