What does Paul Dunbar need to do to improve in 2015? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Dunbar is absolutely loaded this year. They return something like 19 of 22 starting positions from last year. Not sure they can compete with Henry Clay or Lafayette but should give Station a good run and should be much better than Tates Creek. This should be the best Dunbar team since early 2000's.

Lexington Public ranking in my opinion only

1a. Lafayette, gosh with all of their D1 commits/ offers one would think they would be state champ, but first things first. Win district and advance deeper than 1st round.

1b. Henry Clay ( can be flip flop with Lafayette ) track and field team on the football field.

3. PLD, returners, returners and more returning players

4. Station, lost tons of talent, but still have enough athletes/ speed on the field

5. TC, this program has hit rock bottom lately. Not sure why but has not been competitive for years.

I agree with your rankings but would give an edge to Henry Clay over Lafayette just off of the recent history of Lafayette underachieving. I would also say (since this is a Dunbar thread) that if PLD was in Lafayettes district that they could possibly win it. And if Lafayette was in Dunbar's district they could very well finish 3rd or even 4th. The Lexington area 6A districts are not very competitively balanced at the moment.

You have a point there and I would agree StudRB. If PLD and Lafayette do switch district, LHS would have a tough time with Scott Co, Clay, and Station. PLD would have it easy in district 8 with Creek, GRC and Madison Central.... I was just merely ranking the 5 Fayette public system.
