I think they will be competitive, maybe more so than some people believe. Most of the talent last year was in the freshman and sophomore classes. The loss of Austin Cummins will hurt, but I believe it will also open up some things for other players as well. Gunner Gills and Cobe Penny both started as freshman last year, and both contributed quite a bit. Both should come back even better and ready to contribute even more. Jr. to be JP Garman is a solid pg and I think will look to score a little more with the graduation of Cummins. Dylan Harper returns for his senior year to add size and some inside presence, and sophomore to be Christian Gritton I think could make some noise as his backup. They also should have some decent bench/role players that can step in and help when called upon, and I think Coach Drury won't hesitate to use his bench.

Overall lack of size may hurt some, and I anticipate points will come via "committee" rather than having one kid score 25 a night and everyone else chip in where they can. This could be a team that see's 4 or 5 kids averaging 10-13 points a game, with 5 or 6 different kids being the leading scorer in a given game throughout the year. I think they are a year away from competing for a region title, but could be a handful for many teams this year.
