Is there anything to it, or is it just a case of a small school struggling to keep coaches from moving on to greener pastures? Small schools like that have a lot of turnover. Unless you're someone deeply invested in the community, you don't stick around long as a coach. Interesting that you mention the girls' coach — Cornelius Faulkner is the superintendent of the school system and has been there forever in some capacity. I'm not aware he's going anywhere else.
