Are there any rules governing middle school spring or off-season practice? Some teams in our area are rumored to be practicing now through summer in full gear with full contact several times per week. Just curious...

The KHSAA doesn't govern middle school athletics.

 

My guess is that's up to the local school board.

If they are in a conference, the conference sets the guidelines. If they are not in a conference then my guess it is up to the HS/MS coaches.
