Went to Dixie and caught the last 3 innings of Lloyd/St. Henry and all the Dixie/Villa games......I had NKAC All-Star Team certificates to hand out, as well as, NKSCA certificates to the players from those teams that couldn't make the banquet Saturday.

Haley Meyers should have had a No-Hitter in this 5 inning affair, however, the led off batter and Divison III POY Runner-Up, Grace Workman gets an infield single when Kennedy Bin fields a soft grounder, and could have easily ran and tagged the base, but hesitates and her flip to Kohls covering is not in time.

 

Michaela Ware leads off the Breds 1st with a mammoth shot off the base off the 210 foot left field fence for a triple, but is stranded. Haley Meyers leads off the 2nd with a triple to the center-field fence to start a 9-run, 15 batter inning for the Breds. Meyers 2nd trip to the plate in the inning produces a 2-run single. The Breds plate 4 more in the 3rd on a Loren Zimmerman Sac-fly, an RBI double from Morgan Martini, and a 2-run double by Lexy Breen.

 

Meyers K's 8, while issuing 2 free passes and the lone lead-off hit.
