Brian Cunigan has been named the new head coach. He has been the jv coach for the past few years. This man knows the game of basketball inside and out and I'm sure he will do a wonderful job. I'm sure all the girls are pleased with this decision.

Congrats to the Eagles for finding a coach everyone seems to be happy with. It's nice to see a school give an asistant coach a chance.

Cunigan takes over for Borders at Madison Southern

RICHMOND — Former assistant coach Brian Cunigan has been named the new girl’s basketball coach at Madison Southern, replacing Harold Borders who announced his retirement last month.

 

Cunigan has spent the last five years with the program, the last two as the junior varsity coach. He has also coached girls basketball at Foley Middle School and girls and boys basketball along with baseball at Jackson County High School.
