New Food, New Ways to Order at GABP

I used these machines last friday night (my first game this season). I thought they were a great way to help beer sales. It really didn't seem that they are effecting beer sales from the vendors walking around the stadium. I also had the concern of how do they ID people (they checked mine when I handed over my ID), then I wonder how to the ID on return trips. I returned 3 times to refill and was never ID'd again...especially in a large crowd like opening day or the All Star game.

I was able to get about 2.5 beers per card. I felt that it is cheaper in the long run especially for those they are a little cheap when tipping. I did like the fact that the one I was at had Goose Island on it as well. I was also told by the lady that originally ID'd me that by season end you will be able to buy $100 cards at a local retail store.

Yeah, I'm a fan as well. Just over $8 a beer, where the same size is $9.25 at the concession stands.

The Goose Island one was not on when I went by on Friday night. :irked:
