KHSAA TV, can I ask why?

Featured Replies

I love the HD telecast but why do they have the camera on the bench side? The WKU towel is upside down, it's so annoying to me. Are WKU games televised from that side.

Do you have a link?

I found it

I can't imagine WKU games are broadcast from that side, so why they wouldn't use the same broadcast set-up that WKU uses is beyond me. I did ask your same question one time and I was told it's wherever they park the production truck, the easiest way to run the wires, blah, blah. Sounds like lazyness and not thinking about the end product to me. If you can give me a legit reason why the cameras have to be on that side of the court, then fine. I've also seen them do this for other girls' sports like soccer and volleyball, but will the boys be upside down at Rupp? and what about football? We could have a title IX issue.
